The ACE Awards 2023, hosted by ICS Africa, celebrated companies and individuals championing workplace mental health and well-being. Held at the Marriot Hotel in Accra, the event attracted dignitaries and industry leaders.

Purpose: ACE recognized excellence in employers with a robust commitment to mental and physical health, aligning with SDGs 3, 8, and 17.

Guests: Esteemed guests included Patricia Obo-Nai (CEO, Vodafone Ghana), Mr. Sulemanu Koney (CEO, Ghana Chamber of Mines), and Prof Akwasi Osei (Former CEO, Ghana Mental Health Authority).

Winners: ABSA Bank took home four awards, including “Authentic & Caring Employer of the Year.” Labadi Beach Hotel, UNILEVER, Vodafone, Ogilvy, and Modec Production Services Ghana JV Ltd (MPSG) were also honored.

Special Honors: Recognitions went to individuals making a difference in corporate mental health, including Mr. Sulemanu Koney and Carnita Groves.
