GCHRA: ICS Africa partners Kusi Consult for maiden HR Conference on AI in Africa
Impact Concept and Solutions Limited (ICS Africa), a pan-African event management company, will serve as event advisors to KUSI Consulting ahead of the inaugural Global Conference on Human Resources in Africa (GCHRA).
The event, scheduled for October 24-25 at the Labadi Beach Hotel, will bring together top industry players to discuss the importance and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming HR practices in Africa. The theme of the conference is “A Global Discourse on Exploring the Emergence and Dynamics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human Resource Technologies in Africa.”
Notable speakers at the event will include Johnny C. Taylor Jr., President and CEO of SHRM Global, as the keynote speaker, along with BBC’s Irene Asare, Mastercard Foundation’s Toyosi Odukoya, and Microsoft’s Farida Bedwei.
Emmaline Datey, Chief Executive Officer of ICS Africa Ltd, emphasized the need for the Human Resources profession to leverage AI to stay competitive globally. She stated, “As we stand on the brink of unprecedented changes in our HR industry, understanding and leveraging AI is crucial to staying ahead. We cannot deny or ignore the impact that AI is making in our daily lives especially our profession and industry such as Human Resources. Change is inevitable and it is either we change and adapt, or refuse to change and die.”
