ICS Africa, Avance Media and Oomph Events Releases 2021 Top 50 African Event Influencers – Nigerian Honorees List

Highly rated Pan African Business Solutions and Events company, Impact Concept and Solution Africa (ICS Africa) has released the maiden list of top 50 African Event Influencers.

The list, which is in partnership with Ghana’s leading PR, Research and Rating Organizations, Avance Media and Event management company, Oomph will recognize, acknowledge, and honor event influencers across Africa for their independent contributions towards the development of the Event space on the continent.

The individuals on the maiden list have distinguished themselves in different areas within Nigeria’s multi-million-dollar industry. Afrobeats trailblazers Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Tiwa Savage were included in the rankings.

Comedian Ali Baba, Basketmouth, Bovi and controversial politician Dele Momodu were included by virtue of their influence in comedy and event management and planning respectively. Famed Blogger Linda Ikeji; clergywoman, Funke Adejumo; on-air-personality; Toolz, and business magnate, Folorunsho Alakija are all recognized for their influence in the event space in the year under review.

The awardees were selected by an astute board and select panel after months of monitoring and fulfilling all stipulated conditions have shown resilience, zeal and consistency despite the crippling effect of the coronavirus pandemic.

They were spread across eight categories including: Event Organizers, Event DJs, Conference Speakers, Master of Ceremonies, Event Bloggers, Event Entertainers, Event photographers, and Event Designers/Stylists.

This year’s batch of honors will highlight the influence of top game-changers in the events industry in Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa. Other countries will follow in the subsequent years.

The list of Event Influencers capturing the Ghanaian Ecosystem was released in September 2021.

The criteria for Top 50 African Event Influencers are:

– The event influencer must have a good digital presence.

– The event influencer must be of African descent.

– The event influencer must have been consistent in the event space for more than 5
years and still relevant in the industry.

– There should be no illegal tag or criminal record on the event influencer’s brand.
